Stefan Schloter, born in 1971, studied physics at the universities of Würzburg, SUNY at Stony Brook and Bayreuth. He holds a M.A. and a PhD degree. Stefan started his professional career at McKinsey & Company in 1999 consulting clients across Europe. As of 2004 he served Deutsche Telekom in several VP positions and assumed responsibility as CIO of T-Systems International in 2008. In 2013 Stefan joined Deutsche Telekom IT GmbH (DT IT) as SVP where he is currently responsible for “Digital Transformation and Operations”. In his role Stefan oversees DT IT’s infrastructure, operations, shared IT services as well as roadmap planning and delivery. More recently he has been focusing on the transformation towards agile-driven delivery models, cloudification of internal IT services and cultural change of the DT IT organization.
